1. Acceptance of Booking Terms
By submitting a reservation deposit, booking a scuba diving course, or purchasing a resort/homestay package with Lak Sea Adventures PADI Dive Resort, you agree to adhere to these operational Terms & Conditions. Please review them thoroughly before confirming your itinerary.
2. Lakshadweep Administration Permit Rules
Entry into Lakshadweep is legally governed by the Union Territory Administration:
- Document Submission: Guests must supply valid Government Photo IDs (Aadhaar or Passport) and police clearance documentation at least 15 days prior to arrival.
- Government Discretion: Entry permits are issued solely by the Lakshadweep Administration. Lak Sea Adventures is not liable for permit rejections due to incomplete guest documentation or government policy updates.
- Prohibited Items: Carrying alcohol, narcotics, or unauthorized items into Lakshadweep is strictly prohibited by law.
3. PADI Scuba Diving Safety Regulations
Scuba diving is a regulated ocean activity requiring physical fitness and strict protocol compliance:
- PADI Medical Statement: All divers must complete the standard PADI Medical Questionnaire prior to water activities. Medical clearance by a certified physician is required if any medical condition is flagged.
- Divemaster Authority: PADI Instructors and Divemasters reserve absolute authority to suspend or cancel diving activities for any participant exhibiting unsafe behavior, panic, or non-compliance.
- No-Fly Interval: Divers must comply with mandatory no-fly surface intervals (minimum 12 hours for single dives, 18+ hours for repeated dives) prior to departing Agatti by air.
4. Weather, Sea Conditions & Cancellations
Water activities and speed boat transfers between Agatti, Bangaram, and Thinnakara depend on sea state safety:
Weather Cancellation Protection: If boat transit or diving is canceled due to rough seas or Port Authority flags, Lak Sea Adventures will provide alternative scheduling, substitute reef activities, or pro-rata refunds for unfulfilled diving sessions.
5. Scuba Equipment & Gear Care
Rental scuba equipment (BCDs, regulators, wetsuits, dive computers, masks, fins) is delivered inspected and working. Guests are responsible for basic care during use. Damage or loss caused by reckless handling or negligence may incur replacement fees.
6. Legal Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of India and the Union Territory of Lakshadweep. Any legal claims or disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Lakshadweep / Kerala, India.
